Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, former supermodel and film maker. Known for her elegant beauty her long-standing presence in the demanding film industry shows her skills and talent as an actor. Her professional career started as a fashion model in 1970, then she rose quickly to prominence. She was a theatre and acting student at the start of the decade, before starring on stage shows in Los Angeles, and other regions of California.
